Hunter Racing MX is excited to announce the signing of Chace Lawton (#50), a rising star in amateur motocross with an impressive record of championship victories and consistent podium finishes. Chace brings exceptional talent, proven race-winning ability, and valuable professional-level experience to our program.
Championship Pedigree and Consistent Excellence
Chace’s racing career has been defined by championship-level performances and remarkable consistency across multiple premier events. His ability to win at the highest levels of amateur motocross, combined with his experience in professional Supercross competition in 2025 through the SMX next program, makes him a valuable addition to Hunter Racing MX.
In 2024, Chace made his presence known at Loretta Lynn’s Amateur National Motocross Championship, finishing 6th overall in the competitive Schoolboy 1 class. His performance demonstrated his ability to compete against the nation’s best, with moto finishes of 9th, 10th, and 5th showing steady improvement throughout the week.
Dominant 2025 Season
The 2025 season marked a breakthrough year for Chace, highlighted by multiple championship victories and strong performances at the sport’s most prestigious events.
At the Freestone SMX Championship, Chace delivered a dominant performance, capturing 1st overall in both the Open B (12+) and Schoolboy (12-17) classes. His perfect 1-1 moto scores in both classes demonstrated not just speed, but the consistency and mental strength required to win championships.
Chace continued his winning ways at Spring-A-Ding-Ding, where he secured another 1st overall victory in the Schoolboy 2 (12-17) class with perfect 1-1 moto scores. He also finished 2nd overall in the Open B class with consistent 2-2 moto finishes, showcasing his versatility across multiple classes.
Strong Performance at Loretta’s 2025
At the 2025 Loretta Lynn’s Amateur National, Chace delivered one of his strongest performances to date. In the highly competitive 250 B class, he secured a 3rd overall podium finish with moto scores of 5th, 4th, and 5th—demonstrating the consistency needed to compete for championships at the sport’s highest amateur level.
Chace also competed in the Schoolboy 2 (12-17) B/C class at Loretta’s, finishing 6th overall with moto results of 4th, 6th, and 6th. His ability to compete at a high level in multiple classes simultaneously speaks to his versatility and fitness.
Professional Supercross Experience
Beyond his amateur success, Chace has gained valuable experience in professional Supercross competition, competing in multiple SMX Next rounds throughout the 2025 season. This experience at the professional level, including events at Ironman, Glendale, Birmingham, and Foxborough, provides him with a unique perspective and preparation that will serve him well as he continues his progression.
