Spring A Ding 2026: Podium Speed and Forward Progress
Spring A Ding at Oak Hill MX gave us a full week of racing and a lot of good signs for our program. We had Will Canaguier (#95) and Chace Lawton (#50) lining up across both supercross and motocross classes, and the big takeaway was simple: both guys kept finding ways to move forward.
Since there is no MotoPivot package for this race, this report is built from official ResultsMX live timing and class results. That gave us solid lap-by-lap context for where each rider improved through the motos.
Supercross Segment
SX 250 Pro Sport
Will finished 7th overall (8-7), and Chace finished 5th overall (5-5). For Will, this class showed steady improvement from Moto 1 to Moto 2, and his pace tightened up with a 53.108 best lap in Moto 2 after a 54.865 best in Moto 1. Chace was consistent and near the front both motos, with a 53.866 in Moto 1 and a faster 52.979 in Moto 2.
SX Futures/Combine
Chace put together one of his best rides of the week with 3rd overall (3-3). In Moto 2 he worked forward from 8th on Lap 1 to 3rd, exactly the kind of race craft we want to keep seeing. He settled in with strong mid-race laps and a 52.936 best lap while maintaining podium position.
SX Open A
Will finished 4th overall (6-4) and rode a really strong second moto. He came through from 8th on Lap 1 to 4th at the finish, showing smart passes and clean pace management. Chace had the speed to run up front but had a motorcycle issue in Moto 2 and was scored DNF overall for the class while in a strong position early.
Motocross Segment
MX 250 Pro Sport
Will put this one on the box with 3rd overall (2-3), which was a great result in a stacked field. He backed that up with quality pace in both motos, including a 1:56.461 best lap in Moto 1 and a 1:55.221 best lap in Moto 2.
Chace went 5th overall (6-6). The result was steady, but there were positives in the lap data: he dropped a 1:55.728 best lap in Moto 1 and kept pushing with consistent mid-race laps through Moto 2.
MX Open A
Will rode a solid second moto for 4th, and that effort carried him to 6th overall (11-4). After a rougher Moto 1, he rebounded well and put in faster laps, including a 1:56.781 best in Moto 2.
Chace finished 9th overall (12-7). He moved up in Moto 2 and kept charging, with a 1:58.869 best lap in that moto and a better finish than Moto 1.

Closing
I am proud of how both riders handled a long week with a lot of gate drops. We had a couple podiums, we had real forward movement in multiple motos, and we had moments where our guys had to adapt and keep fighting through setbacks. That is exactly the kind of racecraft and toughness we want to build this season. Although I think we can always do better, we were in the conversation all week long.
Huge thanks to our sponsors for helping us keep building this program the right way.
